Building your pool typically takes 10–12 weeks from start to finish—but you’ll have water in the pool and be ready to swim in just 3–4 weeks in most cases.
Vinyl liner pools offer greater design flexibility and typically have a lower cost of installation. There is a wide selection of vinyl liner patterns available, with over 30 patterns to choose from. In contrast, fiberglass pools have limited customization options; the shape and bottom configurations are predetermined by each individual model and cannot be altered. Fiberglass pools require a higher initial install cost but can cost less over their lifetime IF maintained correctly. Fiberglass also offer fewer surface colors to choose from.
Custom designs and shapes are available for vinyl liner pools. Today’s vinyl liner pools rival concrete pools with the amount of customization possible. From multiple depths, tanning ledges, benches and more, you can make your vinyl liner pool whatever your heart desires.
Fiberglass pools, however, are premanufactured and have limitations regarding style and shape offerings. However most manufacturers are offering a wide breadth of options and styles to meet most peoples needs and wants
We do not provide in-house financing, but we recommend options such as Lyon Financial, HFS, Viking, and Upgrade Financing.
The necessary building and electrical permits are obtained for your project by Aegean Pools as part of your project cost. In most cases, a survey of the property is required to obtain the building permits. Aegean does not handle permitting for gas; if the project includes a gas heater, the gas contractor will be responsible for this permit.
If the property falls under the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act (CPBA), approval must be obtained directly from them. At Aegean we will do whatever we can to help in this process but it is ultimately the owners responsibility. Once approved, the building permits will be obtained. Homeowners are responsible for obtaining barrier/fence permits
