WHITE ALUMINUM COPING

This coping is what comes standard with our pools. This durable, white, extruded aluminum edge, approx. 2 1/2 inches tall, provides a smooth, uniform edge around the pool. It also comes in an optional gray color. It can be repainted if scratched and is relatively smooth and easy on the skin and bathing suits.

CANTILEVER COPING

Cantilever coping is created by using special forms at the edge of the pool, that are removed after the concrete deck is poured. In effect what you see is the exposed edge of the concrete deck. It is about 3 1/2 inches tall. Because of its labor intensive nature and the cost of the disposable forms, it is more expensive than aluminum coping. It gives the pool a more custom, upscale look. It is mostly used in conjunction with stamped concrete. The most common complaint we get is that it feels rough.

BRICK OR CAST  COPING

A huge selection of bull-nose bricks and coping stones are available to please the most discriminating  tastes, but these types of coping are expensive. Their main advantage is the look. Depending on type they can be smooth or rough. They tend to come loose through the years as the grout weakens.
